Are You Driven to Make an Impact? Apply to Be Matterlab’s Next Project Manager

by | February 7, 2022

Every day at The Matterlab Group, we get the opportunity to use communications, marketing, creativity, and innovation to help education leaders clarify, communicate, and expand their impact through intentional strategy and aligned communications. It’s incredible work and we’re excited about the opening of our newest role: our second Project Manager for Matterlab Studio!

Within The Matterlab Group, we operate Matterlab Studio, a creative consultancy, and Matterlab Ventures, a startup launchpad, all with the goal of empowering leaders and transforming life outcomes for young people. From launching new organizations, to branding incredible initiatives and campaigns, to telling powerful stories and more, we empower partners to expand their reach and impact.

Our new Project Manager will help us catalyze this impact. Project Managers support a portfolio of partnerships with Matterlab Studio clients (“partners”) led by a Matterlab Strategy Consultant. A typical Project Manager portfolio size is 6-8 partners at any given time. We’re looking for a deeply driven, highly organized and insightful candidate who is also skilled in building strong, trusting relationships. From being an active participant in partner meetings, to helping bring tactical actions to big-picture outcomes, our Project Managers are a crucial and immensely important role for our teams. One of our incredible Project Managers, Afzal Habiban notes that:

“The Project Manager role at Matterlab combines both detailed organization and active equity impact with our partners, which is unique in the best way. I’m supported, challenged, and learning with each new step as I support our team and partners in an authentic way to initiate change and communicate impact.”
