The Membership

• Executive Directors, CEOs, and Founders of nonprofits, social impact organizations, and B Corps
• Superintendents, District Chiefs, and Principals within school districts

You can apply to participate yourself or nominate another leader for The Membership. Once an application or nomination is submitted, you will meet with Matterlab. If selected, Matterlab will contact you within two weeks of applying with instructions for moving forward. If the application is not selected, Matterlab will let you know when you can apply again in the future.

Matterlab is notified of every nomination. Upon receiving the nomination, Matterlab contacts the nominee with details about The Membership and steps for applying.

Membership is for 12 months and can be renewed annually. Members can choose to pay monthly or save $3,000 by paying annually.

• $2,500/month billed on the 1st of each month or
• $27,000/year billed on the date of joining

Short answer: You use the time however it best fits your communication needs. We are here for you.
Here are some examples:

• You email your Member Strategist to let them know you’ve been asked to speak at a community event and need help with talking points; the two of you hop on a next-day Zoom to break it down.
• You join a one-hour members-only Zoom to learn how to leverage generative AI for content creation for everything from grant applications to your LinkedIn presence.
• You send your Member Strategist your team retreat deck, requesting specific, actionable suggestions for improvement.
• You request feedback on copy for a new white paper, and Matterlab spends the designated monthly time diving into that document.

You do not. However, The Membership is best leveraged when you lean into all three supports: Direct Support, Community Connections, and Resources within Reach. The Membership cost remains the same regardless of your level of engagement – so we recommend leaning all the way in!

You will leverage the available time to support the flow of your work. Examples include:

• Live rehearsing and feedback on an upcoming presentation or panel opportunity
• Board meeting direction setting and messaging development using the Know, Feel, Do Framework
• Refinement of a job description for your next senior hire

This membership is designed to support individual leaders. While your team members don’t have access to the Matterlab team, you can and should relay everything you’ve learned to your team!

The Membership gives you access to Matterlab’s expert strategists. Each month, the strategists will be assigned based on your needs and their subject matter expertise. This guarantees you always get exactly what you need.
