Saving Seconds, Making Space: Get Control of Your iPhone Cursor

by | September 28, 2020

We just learned about this, and we’re sharing it with everyone we know! You may not have consciously processed it, but at some point in the last couple of years it became frustratingly difficult to get your iPhone cursor – the little movable indicator on your screen that determines where new type will be added or deleted – to go where you want it to go. Trying to edit a typo in the middle of a word? Using your thumb to try to get into the middle of that word? Nearly impossible. Just delete the whole word and start over. Sound familiar?

There’s a ridiculously easy and fun-to-use fix – just press and hold your space bar, and voila. You can move our finger around freestyle to control the cursor completely.

Texting just got faster. Editing an email just got faster. Fixing that Slack just got faster. And you’re more in control of your device – instead of the other way around. Remember, technology is a tool. Either it works for you, or you work for it.

It may seem minor, but when you save seconds out of your day, you make space for more important things.
